Salvaged from a farm in north-east Tasmania, this beautiful platter board has been lovingly and locally milled from a rare and special kind of blackwood tree called the Birdseye Blackwood. The term ‘birdseye’ refers to the distinctive pattern of black dots in the wood, a visually striking feature that occurs randomly in the wood.
